Plano ISD Barn Hours:

  Hours of Operation: 5:00 am- 10:30 PM

  Gate will be locked after barn hours.

  Students cannot enter the barn during school hours unless authorized by the instructor, or when an emergency exists.

Barn Access:

  Each student raising an animal at the barn will be issued 1 barn card.

  You may request additional barn cards for $25 each.

  Any lost or stolen barn cards will result in a $25 replacement fee.

  All cards must be returned to your ag advisor at the end of the showing season.

 Barn Expectations:

Students raising at the district barn will be assigned duties or responsibilities for the care and maintenance of the facility as determined by the barn manager or ag advisor. 

  A rotating chore chart will be posted in each species' barn. Each student must complete their assigned chores the week they are allotted to complete them.

  Failure to maintain the barn in clean and proper order or complete duties may result in the removal of the student and animal from the facility.

  Sweep up any feed, hay, or feces that your animal leaves on the ground each day.
