Cierra Caughron

Hello! I am Cierra Caughron (Car-run), I am the Agricultural Science teacher at Williams High School. I am very excited to start my first year teaching here in Plano! I am from the other side of the metroplex in a town just south of Fort Worth, called Burleson. I attended Burleson High School where I joined the FFA chapter my sophomore year and I competed on the Agricultural Issues Forum, Agronomy, Floriculture, and Nursery/Landscape teams. From all the experiences gained through FFA I personally decided to pursue an education in agriculture. I graduated in May of 2023 with a Bachelors in Agricultural Education and a minor in Plant and Soil Science from Texas Tech University. During my time at Texas Tech, I joined and competed on the Collegiate Soil Judging Team and was a member of our Collegiate FFA Chapter.

As an advisor for the Plano East FFA Chapter I will be coaching an Agricultural Issues Forum team, Jr. Creed and Nursery/Landscape team, as well as overseeing Poultry SAE Projects. In the classroom I believe that it is important for those students to be set up for success! Courses that are offered at Williams High School at the 9-10 level are Landscape Design and Management, Small Animal Management, Principles of AFNR, and Wildlife, Fisheries, and Ecology Management. I am very excited and thankful to start my career out at Plano ISD!

Wreck ‘em always!
